The Method
Step by Step
Combine bourbon, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup in a shaker with egg white (optional but recommended). Dry shake vigorously without ice for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white. Add ice and shake again until well chilled. Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a cocktail cherry.
